CABLETIME Punch Down Impact Tool for RJ45 Keystone Jacks & Patch Panels

Punch Down Impact Tool for RJ45 Keystone Jacks & Patch Panels
The CABLETIME CNT1T punch down tool helps installers terminate compatible network and telecom conductors on 110-style IDC terminals. Adjustable impact pressure, a reversible dual-end steel blade, a high-elastic internal spring and built-in blade storage support fast, neat and repeatable terminations.
Seat and trim network conductors with controlled impact pressure
Adjustable ImpactSelect controlled force for different compatible termination blocks.
Reversible 110 BladeUse the dual-end blade for seating or seating-and-cutting work.
Consistent Spring ActionDelivers repeatable impact during multiple terminations.
Blade StorageIntegrated handle storage keeps a compatible spare blade accessible.
Terminate and cut in one controlled motion
With the cutting end correctly positioned, the hardened steel blade seats a conductor into the IDC slot and trims the excess wire. This helps create a cleaner patch panel or keystone-jack installation while reducing the need for a separate trimming step.
Reversible blade for different working modes
The dual-end 110 blade can be removed and reversed. One orientation is used when the conductor must be seated and cut; the non-cutting orientation is useful when the wire should be seated without trimming. Always check the blade marking before impact.
Built for repeated network installations
A durable PC housing, textured anti-slip grip and high-elastic spring improve control during extended patch-panel, keystone-jack and telecom work. The storage compartment at the handle base keeps a spare compatible blade close at hand.
Check the terminal and blade orientation before impact
Confirm that the jack, module or patch panel uses a compatible 110-style IDC terminal. Position the conductor fully in the correct colour-coded slot and make sure the cutting edge faces the waste-wire side. Incorrect orientation can cut the retained conductor.

USE β step-by-step termination
- Confirm the module uses a compatible 110-style IDC terminal.
- Arrange conductors according to the selected T568A, T568B or telecom colour code.
- Place each conductor in the correct IDC slot.
- Check that the bladeβs cutting edge faces the waste-wire side.
- Hold the tool perpendicular to the terminal and press until the impact mechanism activates.
- Inspect that the conductor is fully seated and excess wire is cleanly removed.
COMPATIBILITY β what it works with
For compatible 110-style IDC keystone jacks, network modules, telephone blocks and patch panels. Terminal design varies, so confirm the required blade standard before use. This tool does not crimp RJ45 modular plugs.
USER SCENARIOS β practical applications
- Patch-panel installation: terminate multiple Ethernet cable runs neatly.
- Keystone jacks: seat Cat5e or Cat6 conductors in compatible wall modules.
- Telephone blocks: terminate compatible telecom conductors.
- Maintenance: re-terminate loose or damaged IDC connections.
FAQ β frequently asked questions
Does it cut the excess wire?
Yes, when the cutting end of the reversible blade faces the waste-wire side.
Can it crimp RJ45 plugs?
No. RJ45 modular plugs require a separate compatible crimping tool.
Why is the blade reversible?
It allows seating-and-cutting or seating-only operation depending on orientation.
What is the spare compartment for?
It stores one compatible replacement blade in the handle.

Prepare. Terminate. Inspect.
Match the tool and die or blade to your cable and connector. Practise on a spare piece, inspect the finished termination and use a suitable tester before installation.
Will this work with every cable?
Check the cable types, conductor sizes and connector or termination styles listed in the specifications. A matching connector shape alone does not establish tool compatibility.
Which length or version should I select?
Use the product selector to choose the required option. Check that option against any model, connector, length or pack-size distinctions in the specifications before ordering.
