Before you buy: your laptop's USB-C port must support video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt). To show different content on the two HDMI screens, the laptop must also support MST (multi-stream), as most Windows laptops with USB-C video output do.

Can I run two different screens at the same time?
Yes, when your laptop's USB-C port supports MST (multi-stream) — one screen at up to 4K@60Hz and the other at up to 1080p. Otherwise both screens show the same picture.
Will it charge my laptop?
Yes. Connect your USB-C laptop charger to the hub's PD port. It passes up to 100W through; the hub uses a small part of this, so the laptop receives slightly less than the charger's rating.
Does it work with phones or tablets?
It works with USB-C phones and tablets that support video output, such as iPad Pro/Air with USB-C and many Samsung Galaxy phones (DeX). Check that your device supports display output over USB-C.
Does it need a separate power adapter?
No. It runs on power from the laptop. A charger is only needed if you want to charge the laptop through the hub.
