A ten-second BOOST mode raises the blade to 285 rpm for corrugated board, leather and carpet up to about 6.35 mm (Ā¼ inch), depending on the material.
Titanium-coated blade, sharpened in seconds
The 420 stainless-steel blade has a titanium coating. A built-in ten-second sharpening cycle keeps it keen, and the blade changes without tools.

What it is not for

It is designed for cardboard, plastic packaging, leather and carpet. Soft or stretchy fabric is harder to control; traditional fabric scissors are better for cloth.

How do I keep the blade sharp?
Run the built-in ten-second sharpening cycle. When the blade wears out, swap it without tools as shown in the manual.
