UGREEN Cat 7 F/FTP Ethernet Cable, 10m, Black (11273)
UGREEN Cat 7 F/FTP Ethernet Cable, 10m, Black
Build a wired connection between your computer and network equipment with the UGREEN 11273. This black 10m Cat 7 Ethernet cable connects standard RJ45 ports and supports up to 10Gbps with compatible network hardware. Its shielding helps protect the link from interference, making it a practical option when your router or switch is some distance from the desk. A wired route is helpful when the device stays in one place and the router or switch is too far away for a short patch lead. This cable can connect a workstation, console, network storage device or television with an Ethernet port. Its 10m length gives flexibility around the room, but the network speed still depends on the ports at both ends. Plan the route along furniture or a suitable cable channel so the connectors remain accessible.

What it does well.

Key features
Up to 10Gbps networking. Suitable for compatible 10 Gigabit network equipment, with bandwidth up to 600MHz. The connected ports determine the actual negotiated link speed.
Shielded twisted pairs. Four shielded copper twisted pairs help reduce crosstalk and external interference along the cable.
10m ready-to-connect length. Reach from a router or switch to equipment farther across a room without fitting your own network connectors.
Protected RJ45 clips. The connector design helps guard the retaining clips against snagging while positioning the cable.

Where it fits
Home office. Connect a desktop or laptop Ethernet adapter to the router for a wired link across a room.
Gaming and streaming. Connect a console, smart TV or media device with an Ethernet port when a wired connection suits the room layout.
Storage and network equipment. Link a compatible NAS, switch or computer, with the final transfer speed depending on all devices in the path.
Will it work with your setup?
- Works with standard RJ45 Ethernet ports on routers, switches, computers, network printers, consoles and NAS devices.
- A laptop without Ethernet needs a suitable Ethernet adapter. Match the adapter speed to the network performance you want.
- A 1Gbps port still operates at up to 1Gbps; fitting a Cat 7 cable does not upgrade the device port.
Setup and everyday use
- Measure the route along the furniture or room edge and allow slack at both ends of the 10m cable.
- Connect one RJ45 plug to the router or switch and the other to your computer, console or network device until each clip seats securely.
- Check the Ethernet link indicators or the device network settings. The connection normally negotiates its speed automatically.
- To unplug, press the retaining clip and hold the connector body. Avoid sharp bends, crushing the cable under furniture or pulling on the wire.
- Check the negotiated Ethernet link speed in the connected device settings and try the normal online or file-transfer task. Keep both RJ45 plugs accessible for troubleshooting, and support the cable route so its weight does not pull against the retaining clips.

A closer look
Before you buy
- The cable does not increase the speed of an internet subscription or compensate for a slower router.
- File-transfer performance also depends on computer storage, network settings and the destination device.
- This is an RJ45 Ethernet cable, not a fibre cable or an RJ11 telephone lead.
