UGREEN RJ45 Splitter 1 to 2 Ethernet Adapter ABS Case Pack of 2 LAN Network Cable Extender Cat5 Cat6 PC Laptop Router Switch 50923
Carry two separate 10/100 Ethernet connections through one suitable four-pair network cable with the UGREEN CM210 splitter pair, SKU 50923. The package contains the two passive adapters required at opposite ends of the cable; it is a wiring solution for an existing network, not an active Ethernet switch.
Features
What it does well.
How the pair is connected
- At the source end, connect two separate router or network-switch ports to the two sockets on the first splitter.
- Connect the first splitter to one suitable eight-core Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable running to the destination.
- At the destination, connect the second splitter and run its two sockets to the two receiving network devices.
Key features
- Creates two independent 10/100 Ethernet paths over one suitable four-pair cable when both adapters are used together
- Supports up to 100Mbps per connection
- Transmission distance up to 100m when used with suitable pure-copper network cabling and compatible equipment
- Three RJ45 female sockets on each passive adapter
- ABS housing with an internal metal shielding layer
- No software, driver or external power adapter required
Verified specifications
- Model: CM210

- Package configuration: pair of two splitters
- Connector arrangement per unit: 3 × RJ45 female
- Maximum network rate: 100Mbps per link
- Housing: ABS with metal shielding
Compatibility and use cases
This pair is useful where one installed Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable must carry two Fast Ethernet links and two source ports are already available. Typical examples include connecting an IPTV receiver and a second network device at the same remote location or avoiding a second cable run through a wall.
Check before buying
- Both splitters are required. A single unit does not provide a working one-to-two network connection.
- You must connect two separate LAN ports at the router or switch end. This product cannot share one router port between two devices.
- These are passive wiring adapters, not a network switch, router, hub or signal booster.
- Gigabit Ethernet is not supported because each 100Mbps link uses two of the cable's four wire pairs.
- Performance depends on correct cabling, terminations and the connected network equipment.
