How switching and multi-display behavior works
Matrix mode can route different selected inputs to Output A and Output B; splitter-style use can place the same selected source on both outputs. It does not create two independent desktops from one source.

Setup and usability guidance
Best first test: one source, one short cable path, one display and 1080p60. Expand only after this baseline works.
- Step 1: Connect the supplied 5V/1A adapter before source selection.
- Step 2: Connect each source to a numbered HDMI input and label the cable.
- Step 3: Connect Output A and Output B to the intended displays.
- Step 4: Add optical or 3.5mm audio only if required and supported by the chosen source format.
- Step 5: Power displays first, then the matrix, then sources; select a conservative 1080p mode for first test.
- Step 6: Use the panel or remote to assign inputs, then raise resolution only after both paths are stable.

Warnings and limitations
- Power: DC 5V/1A adapter required and listed in the kit.
- Display negotiation: mixed displays can force a lower common mode or create a blank screen.
- Protected content: HDCP must be supported end to end; the device cannot bypass protection.
- Heat and moisture: indoor use only; keep dry, ventilated and away from direct heat.
- Cables: The listing gives up to 12m input + 12m output for 4K30 and up to 20m + 20m for 1080p60. These are best-case listed limits, not guarantees for every cable or environment.
