Setup and usability guidance
Best first test: one source, one short cable path, one display and 1080p60. Expand only after this baseline works.
- Step 1: Place the splitter where the power lead and all five HDMI cable runs remain serviceable.
- Step 2: Connect the source to HDMI Input and the displays to Outputs 1–4.
- Step 3: Connect the listed 5V/1A adapter; do not rely on HDMI bus power.
- Step 4: Start with one display at 1080p60, then add outputs one at a time.
- Step 5: If displays differ, select a mode every screen supports before testing HDR or protected content.
- Step 6: For 4K60, keep both source and display legs short and use cables.
