USB 3.2 PERFORMANCE
Use the two USB-C data ports and USB-A data port with compatible SSDs, drive enclosures, flash drives, card readers and professional peripherals. Reaching a 10Gbps link requires a 10Gbps host port, peripheral, cable and storage device.
Real throughput is lower than the theoretical link rate. All connected USB devices communicate through the attached host cable, so concurrent transfers divide the available upstream bandwidth.
- Two USB-C 3.2 data ports
- One USB-A 3.2 data port
- Up to 10Gbps theoretical
- Shared host bandwidth
- Actual speed depends on storage and workload
Connect one external screen at up to 4K 60Hz
HDMI 2.0 DISPLAY
Connect a compatible monitor, television or projector for presentations, productivity, video and creative work. The host operating system controls mirror or extended-desktop mode.
Supported resolution, HDR, protected playback and refresh rate depend on the source, USB-C video capability, content, application, HDMI cable and display. The host port must provide DisplayPort Alt Mode or compatible Thunderbolt/USB4 video.

Check before buying
Important limitations
Check these points before ordering or connecting:
- The host port must support USB 10Gbps to reach the maximum data-link claim.
- HDMI requires DisplayPort Alt Mode, USB4 display output or compatible Thunderbolt video.
- This model directly supports one external display through HDMI.
- The two downstream USB-C ports are data ports; they are not monitor outputs, 100W charging outputs or downstream Thunderbolt ports.
- All USB devices share one upstream connection, so concurrent transfer rates fall.
- 100W is maximum PD input; about 95W is the stated maximum for the host and actual delivery can be lower.
- This model has no Ethernet, VGA, DisplayPort or 3.5mm audio connector.
- A PD charger, charging cable and HDMI cable are not included.

- It does not include a charger or HDMI cable.
Setup and usability guidance
Guided connection
Match each USB-C port to its correct role
- Confirm the host port supports USB data, the required 10Gbps rate, external video and charging as needed.
- Connect the attached braided USB-C lead directly to the host.
- Connect a compatible PD charger and rated cable to the dedicated PD input, not to a USB-C data port.
- Connect HDMI, select the display input and choose a supported mirror or extended-desktop mode.
- Connect high-speed storage to a data port and verify the host negotiates the expected link.
- Insert SD and microSD cards correctly and wait for them to mount before transferring files.
- Safely eject all storage and cards before disconnecting the hub.
Do and avoid
Good practice
- Use a 10Gbps-capable host, peripheral and cable chain for high-speed transfers.
- Use a suitable HDMI 2.0 cable for 4K60.
- Use a compliant 100W-class PD charger and 5A E-Marker cable when maximum host charging is required.
- Keep the aluminium enclosure uncovered to distribute normal operating heat.
- Use safe-eject before removing drives and cards.
- Test high-speed devices one at a time before starting concurrent transfers.
- Do not connect the charger to a USB-C data port.
- Do not expect a USB-C data port to drive a monitor.
- Do not call the hub a Thunderbolt dock or expect 40Gbps functions.
- Do not cover the housing during sustained transfer, HDMI and PD use.
- Do not interrupt file writes or remove power during card transfers.
- Do not continue use with damaged, loose, wet or unusually hot connectors.
Warnings and limitations
Safe operation
Safety note 1. Mild warmth is normal because the aluminium enclosure distributes heat from data, video and charging circuits. Keep it open to airflow.
Safety note 2. The theoretical 10Gbps rate is not a guaranteed file-copy speed. Storage performance, protocol overhead, host controller and concurrent devices reduce throughput.
Safety note 3. 4K60 and HDR require a compatible end-to-end path. A blank or downgraded image often indicates host-port, cable, content or display limitations.
Safety note 4. PD power is negotiated. An underspecified charger or cable reduces charging and can make power-hungry peripherals unstable.
Safety note 5. Removing a card or drive during a write can corrupt files. Use safe-eject and wait for activity to stop.
