What it does well.

Supplied power adapter. A dedicated power adapter keeps both SSDs powered reliably under load.
Bring-your-own SSDs. Choose the capacity you need; fit your own M.2 NVMe drives.

Backups and archives. Use one drive for working files and the other for a copy.
Mac and PC workstations. Expand the storage of a laptop or small desktop that cannot take extra internal drives.
Will it work with your setup?
- For the highest speed, connect to a USB4 or compatible Thunderbolt port. On USB 3.x or USB 2.0 ports it runs at the slower speed that port supports.
- Designed for M.2 NVMe SSDs. Check that your drives are NVMe (M-key) and match the supported sizes before buying; M.2 SATA drives are different.
- A new or blank SSD must be initialised and formatted on the computer before it appears as a usable drive.
Setup and everyday use
- Back up any data on the SSDs before you install them.
- Open the enclosure and fit each M.2 NVMe SSD into its slot, securing it as described in the user manual.
- Close the enclosure, connect the power adapter (with an India plug adapter if needed) and connect the USB4 cable to your computer.
- Initialise and format new drives in Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS).
- Always eject the drives in the operating system before unplugging the cable or the power adapter.
Before you buy
- Supplied with an EU-plug power adapter; an India plug adapter may be needed for Indian sockets.
- SSDs are not included.
- Real transfer speed depends on your computer port, the SSDs, the file sizes and the file system, not only on the USB4 interface.
