What it does well.

UGREEN Nexode CD226 100W 4-Port GaN II Charger, India Plug (15254)

Use USB-C1 or USB-C2 when one high-power device has priority

Maximum single-port charging

For the highest available output, connect one compatible USB-C PD laptop or other high-power device to USB-C1 or USB-C2 and leave the remaining ports unused. The receiving device requests a supported profile; the charger never forces 100W into equipment that accepts less.

Not a 100W PPS promise: The manual lists a 100W fixed profile at 20V/5A, while the stated PPS range for C1/C2 is 3.3–21V/3A. Match the device requirement to the actual listed profile.

  • Confirm that the device accepts USB-C Power Delivery at the wattage you expect.
  • Use a 5A e-marked USB-C-to-USB-C cable for a 20V/5A, 100W path.
  • Expect the device, battery temperature and charging controller to reduce power as the battery fills.
  • Treat UGREEN timing graphics as laboratory examples, not guaranteed results for every laptop.

Multi-device charging and power sharing

One budget, four sockets

All four ports may be occupied, but the charger has one 100W maximum total. As more devices request power, the internal controller reallocates the budget. The result changes with the active port combination and each device’s requested voltage and current.

Do not add the labels together: 100W + 100W + 22.5W + 22.5W is not available simultaneously. Those numbers are individual port ceilings under the stated conditions, while the charger itself remains limited to 100W total.

  • Place the most power-hungry laptop on USB-C1 or USB-C2.
  • Use USB-C3 or USB-A for lower-power phones and accessories when suitable.
  • Allow a brief pause or reconnect event when a cable is inserted or removed.
  • Check the device’s charging indicator instead of assuming every port retained its solo maximum.

Why two laptops may charge differently

Real-world expectations

Two laptops can have different results even when they appear similar. One may request 20V PD while another reduces input because of battery state, thermal conditions or its manufacturer’s charging policy. Cable capability also matters: a 3A cable cannot provide a 5A path.

  • A lower-wattage computer will draw only what it negotiates.
  • Charging typically tapers near a high state of charge.
  • Heavy computer use can make battery percentage rise more slowly even when input power is substantial.
  • Adding a phone or accessory can trigger a new allocation for every active port.

Compact for a four-port charger—pack the fixed pins carefully

Physical format

UGREEN India lists approximate dimensions of 7.6 × 6.9 × 3.3cm and a weight of about 310g. The fixed India plug avoids a separate mains cable, but the body is still a high-power 100W adapter and may be too heavy for a worn or loose socket.

Travel clarification: The 100–240V input supports many mains systems, but a safe, correctly rated plug adapter may still be required outside India. A shape adapter does not change local electrical rules.

  • Use a firm socket that supports the charger without sagging.
  • Leave space around the body for airflow.
  • Pack it so the fixed pins cannot scratch devices or be bent by pressure.
  • For international travel, confirm voltage, frequency, socket shape and adapter quality; input-voltage compatibility does not make the plug fit every country.

Efficient electronics do not mean “heat-free”

GaN II and temperature management

GaN II technology allows a smaller high-power conversion stage, and the gallery presents Thermal Guard monitoring. Some warmth is normal when converting substantial AC power in a compact enclosure, especially with several devices connected.

Safe interpretation: Thermal monitoring is a protective feature, not permission to block ventilation or continue using damaged equipment.

  • Keep the charger uncovered on a hard, open surface.
  • Avoid enclosed drawers, bedding, direct sunlight and other heat sources.
  • Disconnect it if heat is excessive or accompanied by smell, discoloration, crackling or intermittent power.
  • Do not treat the gallery’s efficiency figure as a guaranteed result at every voltage and load.

Protection features support safe use; they do not replace inspection

Electrical safeguards

The gallery identifies overvoltage, overheating, overcurrent and short-circuit protection. These circuits work alongside the connected device’s charging controller and the cable’s rating.

Never test a protection feature deliberately: Do not short ports, overload extension boards, defeat grounding where required or use the charger in wet locations.

  • Inspect the charger, pins, socket and cables before use.
  • Keep every connector clean and dry.
  • Stop using a cable with exposed conductors, crushed insulation or loose plugs.
  • Disconnect the charger during unusual mains behaviour or if protection repeatedly trips.
  • Keep liquids, conductive debris and children away from the ports and mains pins.

Use scenarios

Where it fits

The charger is most useful when one wall outlet must cover a changing mix of USB-C and USB-A charging needs.

Single-laptop desk. Give one compatible laptop priority on C1 or C2, adding other devices only when reduced laptop input is acceptable.

Office charging point. Keep USB-C and USB-A cables ready for a laptop, phone, headset and other work accessories.

Family device mix. Charge several lower-power devices while recognising that proprietary fast-charge modes depend on a compatible cable and profile.

Travel kit consolidation. Replace several adapters when the destination socket and plug-adapter arrangement are safe and properly rated.

Setup and usability guidance

From socket to charging

Troubleshooting order: Test one device at a time on C1 or C2, then substitute a known-good rated cable, then add other devices individually. This separates charger allocation from a cable or device limitation.

  1. Inspect first. Confirm the fixed pins, casing, wall socket and all device cables are clean, dry and undamaged.
  2. Use a firm socket. Insert the India plug fully without forcing it, and ensure the charger does not sag or wobble.
  3. Connect the priority device. Put a high-power USB-C laptop on C1 or C2 with a 5A e-marked cable if up to 100W is required.
  4. Add lower-power devices deliberately. Use C3 or USB-A when their profiles suit the phone or accessory.
  5. Wait for renegotiation. After adding or removing a cable, allow the charging indicators to settle before diagnosing a fault.
  6. Verify actual charging. Check the operating system or a trusted USB power meter if behaviour matters; the front-port label is only a ceiling.
  7. Disconnect safely. Grip plugs rather than pulling cables, and remove the charger from the socket before cleaning or prolonged storage.

What to do

Reliable-use checklist

  • Use C1 or C2 for the highest-power USB-C device.
  • Use a correctly rated 5A e-marked cable above 60W.
  • Keep the charger ventilated and the wall connection firm.
  • Confirm the device input specification before expecting a wattage or fast-charge label.
  • Add devices one at a time when troubleshooting power sharing.
  • Carry the fixed pins in a protective compartment.
  • Do not cover the charger, operate it on bedding or trap it behind insulation.
  • Do not use cracked housings, bent pins, frayed cables or loose sockets.
  • Do not assume USB-C3 has the same output as C1/C2.
  • Do not connect a high-power device with an unrated cable and expect 100W.
  • Do not expose the charger to liquids, conductive dust or extreme heat.
  • Do not use passive plug adapters or extension boards beyond their safe rating.

Warnings and limitations

Read before connecting

Stop-use signs: Unplug immediately if pins are bent, the casing cracks, the unit smells burnt, liquid enters a port, sparks occur outside normal plug contact, or charging repeatedly cycles with known-good equipment.

  • Shared ceiling: 100W is the charger total; simultaneous devices receive negotiated portions of that budget.
  • Per-port difference: C1/C2 are the high-power ports; C3 and USB-A are specified up to 22.5W each.
  • Cable dependency: a 5A e-marked USB-C cable is required for a 20V/5A, 100W path.
  • Charging interruption: plugging in or removing a device can briefly restart charging while power is reallocated.
  • Heat: moderate warmth can be normal; disconnect on excessive heat, smell, noise, discoloration or repeated cut-outs.
  • Socket condition: do not use the 310g charger in a loose, scorched or damaged wall outlet.
  • Moisture: the charger is not waterproof; keep it away from sinks, spills and humid enclosures.
  • International use: 100–240V input does not remove the need for a safe plug adapter or compliance with local electrical rules.
  • Profile limits: a connector fit does not guarantee that the receiving device supports a listed voltage or protocol.
  • Accessories: no USB-C, Lightning or USB-A device cable is listed as included.

FAQs

Questions buyers ask.

Can UGREEN 15254 charge a laptop at 100W?

Yes, USB-C1 or USB-C2 can provide up to 100W when used alone with a compatible USB-C PD laptop and a 5A e-marked cable. The laptop may accept less.

Can USB-C1 and USB-C2 each provide 100W at the same time?

No. The charger has one shared 100W total. Each high-power port reaches its 100W ceiling only under the specified single-port condition.

How powerful is USB-C3?

USB-C3 is specified up to 22.5W. It is a lower-power phone and accessory port, not a second 100W laptop supply.

What is the USB-A maximum?

The USB-A ceiling is 22.5W using a compatible voltage and charging profile. The connected device and cable determine the actual result.

Why does charging pause when another device is connected?

Adding or removing equipment can trigger power renegotiation. A brief interruption while the charger redistributes its shared budget can be normal.

Does it support PPS?

Yes. C1/C2 list PPS 3.3–21V/3A, while C3 lists 3.3–5.9V/3A and 3.3–11V/2A. The device and cable must support a matching path.

Do I need a special cable for 100W?

Yes. A 20V/5A path requires a USB-C-to-USB-C cable rated for 5A with an e-marker, plus a device that accepts the 100W profile.

Are charging cables included?

No device charging cable is listed in the package contents. Supply the correct rated cable for every connected device.

Can it transfer data or connect a monitor?

No. All four outputs provide charging power only. This product is not a hub, dock, card reader or display adapter.

Is some warmth normal?

Moderate warmth can be normal at high load. Keep the charger ventilated and disconnect it if heat is excessive or accompanied by smell, noise, discoloration or intermittent output.

Can it be used outside India?

The input is rated 100–240V at 50/60Hz, but the fixed India plug may need a safe, correctly rated adapter. Confirm destination rules and socket compatibility.

Which devices are compatible?

Many USB-C PD laptops, phones, tablets, handheld consoles, power banks and USB-A accessories can charge within a supported profile. Wattage and branded fast-charge modes depend on the device, cable and selected port.
