Bring a hard-to-reach USB port closer to your desk with the UGREEN 10315. This 1.5m extension cable has a USB-A male plug at one end and a USB-A female socket at the other. It extends an existing USB connection for a keyboard, mouse, controller, flash drive or compatible peripheral, with USB 2.0 data transfer up to 480Mbps. Instead of reaching behind a desktop computer every time you connect a peripheral, you can leave the extension connected and bring its female socket to a more convenient position. Setup and everyday use
- Connect the USB-A male plug to a compatible computer or USB host port.
- Plug the peripheral or its existing USB-A cable into the female socket.
- Check that the device is recognised and working before routing the cable behind furniture.
- For an unstable connection, test the peripheral directly at the computer, then reconnect the extension without additional hubs or chained extension leads.
- Test the peripheral in its final position before fastening the cable route. Leave the female socket somewhere accessible, support any heavy connected adapter, and make sure the total length includes the peripheral cable as well as this 1.5m extension.
