Setup and everyday use
- Check that both devices have full-size HDMI ports and that 2m covers the complete cable route.
- Connect one end to the source HDMI output and the other to the screen HDMI input, then select that input on the display.
- Choose the required resolution and refresh rate in the source settings. For 4K60, the source, display and any intervening switch or adapter must support that mode.
- Before arranging the final cable route, play familiar video with sound and confirm that the correct display and audio output are selected. If the connection passes through a dock or receiver, check it again after that equipment is added.

Before you buy
- The cable does not convert USB-C, DisplayPort, VGA or Mini HDMI connections. A suitable adapter is required for a different port.
- It does not upgrade a 1080p source or screen to 4K.
- Choose a suitable Ultra High Speed HDMI cable when your setup requires 8K or 4K at 120Hz.
