Setup and everyday use
- Check that both ports support the resolution and refresh rate you need, and that 2m covers the full route.
- Connect the source directly to the display and select the correct HDMI input.
- Enable the display’s enhanced HDMI mode where required and choose the desired output in the source settings.
- For eARC, connect the labelled eARC ports and enable the matching sound settings on the television and audio device.
- Check the source information screen after setup to confirm the intended picture and audio modes. Test the games or content you actually use, because a working menu screen does not by itself confirm that every high-bandwidth playback mode is configured correctly.

Before you buy
- The cable does not convert a DisplayPort or USB-C output to HDMI.
- An HDMI switch, receiver or adapter in the signal path can limit the available resolution, refresh rate or audio format.
- For a stable high-bandwidth connection, test a direct cable connection before adding other equipment.
