What is required for fast charging? A compatible Lightning Apple device, this USB-C-to-Lightning cable and a USB-C Power Delivery charger capable of supplying the device’s supported charging level.

The Lightning connector will not fit devices that use USB-C instead. This includes:

- USB-C iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini and standard iPad models
- AirPods charging cases equipped only with USB-C
- MacBook charging—the Lightning end cannot connect to or charge a MacBook

Yes. It uses MFi-certified technology and a C94 Lightning connector for compatible Apple devices.
Does it support 20W fast charging?
Yes. Up to 20W charging requires a compatible Lightning device and USB-C Power Delivery charger.
Does a USB-C wall charger come with the cable?
No. The package contains the USB-C-to-Lightning cable only.
Will it work with iPhone 15, 16 or 17?
No. These iPhone generations use a USB-C port rather than Lightning. Use a USB-C-to-USB-C cable for those models.
Will it work with iPhone 14 and iPhone 13?
Yes. It is compatible with Lightning-port iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 models, including supported mini, Plus, Pro and Pro Max versions.
Can it charge a MacBook?
No. It can connect a Lightning Apple device to a MacBook’s USB-C port, but the Lightning end cannot charge a MacBook.
Can I transfer photographs to a MacBook or computer?
Yes. It supports data synchronisation up to 480Mbps between a compatible Lightning device and USB-C computer.
Does it support video output?
No. It is designed for charging and data synchronisation, not direct monitor or television connection.
Can it charge AirPods?
Yes, if the AirPods charging case has a Lightning port. It will not fit USB-C-only AirPods cases.
Does it work with USB-C iPads?
No. The Apple device end is Lightning. USB-C iPads require a USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
Why does charging slow down as the battery fills?
The connected Apple device automatically manages charging power based on battery level, temperature and other conditions.
