Will it work with your setup?
- Needs a 3.5mm AUX input on the car stereo, speaker or amplifier.
- LDAC quality needs a phone that supports LDAC, which many Android phones do. iPhones connect using standard Bluetooth codecs.
- Hands-free calling needs the audio system to stay on the AUX source during the call.
Setup and everyday use
- Charge the receiver fully before first use.
- Plug the receiver into the 3.5mm AUX input and switch the stereo or speaker to AUX.
- Put the receiver into pairing mode and select it in your phone Bluetooth settings.
- On an Android phone that supports LDAC, you can choose LDAC in the Bluetooth device or developer settings.
- Recharge when the battery runs low, using the supplied cable and a USB charger or the car USB port.
A closer look
Before you buy
- The receiver adds Bluetooth to a wired AUX input; it does not work with systems that have no AUX or line input.
- Engine or charging noise in some cars comes from a ground loop; a ground-loop isolator can reduce it if needed.
- Final sound quality also depends on the stereo, speakers and the original music file.
